I understand what a partially paid bid is, buts what is an at large bid? I'm confused!
Thankyou!

Why is it then called "At Large" shouldnt that mean Large = More/Big

while Partial = Some/abit

They should just not have put up 'potential' sessions - although they mentioned they could change nobody ever thinks they actually will because when you note something like that it's with pretty certainty surely. Have legacy got too greedy? We only took our youth because we thought juniors would be in the same session so parents with siblings could easily watch both. Also it ups our number of supporters for both teams.. My parents are really not happy the ticket price has now doubled with only a month to go!! At least with some notice we could have done a potential fundraiser to help cover the extra cost for those parents I know will struggle to pay more!

No doubt legacy will now tell us we are lucky compared to the U.S. and we need to be more like them!!

Although I appreciate it can be built into lesson fees I doubt parents would be happy to pay for my water park entry!

If 5 people go from your programme you're looking at 10K plus flights.. You could totally call any gym in Americaband they'd bite you're hand off. I wouldn't care about fancy meals out and water park trips - I'd just want to be in the gym!

I'm sure for those with the money it will be great this year as not many will be able to go.. Next year I imagine it will be busy and thus be less of a personal experience.

@post3 what was your incident at Legacy? We are taking our teams to Copper Box as I'd only ever heard good things about them, so I'm intrigued as to the bad experience that you said you've had.

@post17 They always said from the moment that the competition was announced that the sessions would be subject to change because they had to allocate them based on estimates. It wasn't until all of the entries were in that they could actually make the schedule and work out the sessions. If your coach had read the details/thought about it they would have realised this, and might have been wiser to wait until the schedule was released before making parents order tickets for specific sessions, knowing that there was a chance that they would change. That's what we did, and we've had no issues at all.
