I understand what a partially paid bid is, buts what is an at large bid? I'm confused!
Thankyou!

Why is it then called "At Large" shouldnt that mean Large = More/Big

while Partial = Some/abit

Hi!
I'm president of my uni team and all of our boys but 1 graduated this year so I'm in the process of convincing boys to give cheerleading a try but I'm really struggling!
Any tips/advice?
We want more than 1 boy if we are competing in coed!
Thanks

Every move is separate. Never let your moves flow into eachother. Pop your motion on the beat, we always tell our teams to "make every motion count" and to perform every single motion like you would the first or last. Strength also comes with timing, drill your routine so you aren't ever hesitant and strength will come! I mimic the above post, strength is not just arms, it comes from keeping a tight body as well. Good luck :-)

@post1 Think about keeping your core (abs) tight and make sharp motions with tight shoulders and upper arms, in particular biceps and triceps. Your lower arm, including wrist and fist, should be more relaxed. The control happens in abs, rib cage, shoulders and upper arms.
Make a T-motion with your arms but leave your hands relaxed for this drill.
Have someone try to push your arms up or down and you resist so the motion stays a T motion.
Then try it where they try to pull your arms forward to make a clap in front of your body at chest level.
Then have them push one arm to make you twist-- but tighten your core and shoulders so you don't twist or lose your T position.
Those are the muscles your coach wants you to use to stay tight and have sharper motions.

:-)
