What teams are people most excited to see? And what division do you think is 'one to watch' this competition/season

@Post6, If the spotter maintains contact it wouldn't be a cradle/dissmount and would be classed as a transition.

Would the spotter have to remain in contact until the flyer is in cradle position then? Could stop the flyer getting much higher in the cradle? X

@Post14, why did you only stop complaining about there being 4 US teams in Worlds when a fourth Canadian team was allowed? is that fair?

dont preach about being fair when you dont stand up for it for everybody please

Hello everyone,
My name is Lisa Aucoin & along we my husband Kenny Feeley we own Spring: Cheer, Dance & Tumbling. In many ways we are the reason these "random Canadian" teams have chosen to attend Future Cheer. Not because we wanted them to steal your titles or to rob British people from the opportunity of having an exclusive championship- but because we have absolutely fallen in love with your country, your cheerleading community, the teams, the athletes, the coaches & the event producers and we wanted kids we work with to experience cheerleading abroad, make new friends & grow in a way that only travel permits.

For those of you that don't know us.. We travel 300 plus days a year & are proud to coach in 33 countries. Teams we work with have traveled to the UK, France, Italy, Mexico, Australia to compete. We are even bringing a Great White Shark stunt group to demo in Jamaica this July!

I'm sorry if the participation of these teams is offensive to you, but I would like to think that most people can see what we are hoping to accomplish. Last year we were lucky enough to work with 56 teams at the cheerleading worlds but the majority of kids we coach will never have that chance. Traveling abroad & using cheerleading as a vehicle to experience new cultures and meet new people is something I will never apologize for.

With respect to bids... I believe that event producers should work within the parameters established by our international governing bodies. If UK teams are allowed to accept bids outside of the UK than UK event producers should be able to award them to outside teams as well.

This may be frustrating - but I will give you a similar example. The team we coach has won worlds back to back on a partial paid bid valued at $3000.00 Canadian. THREE teams who placed lower than us received FULL PAID bidS ONLY BECAUSE they are American. This year we WON NCA and again could have been awarded a FP. It doesn't seem right that our talented & amazing girls are not given the same as athletes and teams with less ability.. Yet it has been that way for us since the beginning.

I share this with you only to demonstrate that our sport is still evolving & growing.. And it's far from perfect. One of my favorite quotes is "She believed she could.. So she did". If it is your goal to become a FC Champion and/or the recipient of a worlds bid at that event AND are willing to do whatever necessary to achieve your goal .... YOU WILL. Please trust me when I say from experience there is no better feeling in the world than overcoming an obstacle or winning against everyone's very best.

UK teams are participating at worlds more than ever before & the number of programs competing for bids gets larger every year. With Europeans taking place in June (and this is the culmination for most countries) I doubt you will have too many teams taking bids away from deserving British programs. But.. If having bids allows more teams to travel, experience another cheerleading community & add to the fabric of a competition -- I petsobally think that is wonderful. You may not agree -- and that is OK.

Thank you for reading if you've made it this far. We have 3 Canadian teams coming to FC this year. They are so excited to experience this championship & meet all of the UK teams. Please know they are working hard just like you are.. And in the end they love cheerleading too. They are not trying to steal your championships -- they just want to compete & build memories that will last a lifetime.

Best of luck with the remainder of your season!

Legal to cradle with one base and one spotter - spotter does not have to catch behind the stunt, as long as they catch at the shoulder area.

@post1 @post2 The bracer can touch the stunt with their other hand, there is nothing illegal about that.
