What teams are people most excited to see? And what division do you think is 'one to watch' this competition/season

Silly question but are those attending the conference wearing training clothes or normal?

I totally agree with you. On a comp floor crops/shorts/skirts are fine but at community events I do feel things should be approached a little differently. Unfortunately the world we live in is a cruel one and you never know who's at those events. Of course, those people could be at a cheer comp, but it's a lot less likely. It also gives your local community a skewed image of cheer. It's much better to wear shorts and tshirts but execute amazing stunts and impress them with talent than have a crowd thinking "wow, cheerleaders really are as slutty as they say", "why do those kids dress like that" or god forbid any worse because they don't understand that crops are a normal thing in the cheer world.
