Hi Guys,

For Jungle Fever, Winter Wonderland & Heart of England the days will be split the same. Saturday will be all Tiny, Mini, Youth and Junior teams. Sunday will be all Senior and Senior Open teams. The only difference with Jungle Fever is that you get to compete twice in one day.

We have found that this gives the most even spread of teams over the two days.

For Saturday Night Fever all dance teams and stunt groups/partner stunts will all perform twice on Saturday. All cheer teams will perform twice on Sunday.

Super Hero is likely to be a one day event with all teams on the same day.

FC Brings It On is also a one day competition with the parade on the Sunday.

I hope that helps but if you want any more info please let me know.

Hi wondered how other teams praise their athletes . Do you just do lots of praise throughput season or do you have reward charts / stickers etc we are London team and work with all ages . Just feel there's a lack of praise from coaches etc

That's such a helpful idea, will definitely be implementing that into training.

Any other suggestions please leave them below.

A good tip to stop younger children chatting and not concentrating during stunting etc is to get them to count out loud. This will also help keep them in time. Get them to say the count where something happens a bit louder. For example, if you're in prep, and the flyers need to hit High V on 5 and cradle on 7, have them count our loud - one, two, three, four, FIVE, six, SEVEN, eight.

It really helps with timing, and also, if their counting, they can't lose focus as easily.

I would politely message the head coach of the other team and explain how your athlete is feeling and explain the situation to her.. im sure she will have a private word with her girls and they would stop. As for your athlete in training... while she is stunting etc.. pay her compliments etc to bring her confidence back up, say things like "Who wants first place girls" then she will soon forget about the comments the girls from the other team were making :) Hope this helps, everything will turn out okay for sure!
